Bacterial endotoxin testing (BET) is the most critical quality control test and a fundamental safety requirement in the pharmaceutical and biomedical industries. Endotoxin is a type of pyrogen and is a component of the exterior cell wall of Gram-negative bacteria (like E. coli), which is toxic for eukaryotic cells. We offer the additional Endotoxins detection by LaL test, which based on the reaction of the limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL) - an aqueous extract of blood cells (amoebocytes) from the horseshoe crab, with bacterial endotoxin and lipopolysaccharide (LPS), which is a membrane constituent of Gram-negative bacteria.
