Genta-ALP thermolabile alkaline phosphatasecatalyses the cleavage of 5'- and 3'-phosphate groups from DNA, RNA, oligonucleotides, nucleoside triphosphates, as well as the dephosphorylation of proteins. Active in PCR buffer.
Isolated from a strain of Escherichia coli expressing the alkaline phosphatase gene from Gadus morua.

Scope of application:
- Dephosphorylation of vector DNA during cloning
- "Purification" of PCR products before sequencing (nucleotide hydrolysis)
- Dephosphorylation of DNA, RNA and oligonucleotides
- Protein dephosphorylation
- Reaction conditions: 10 minutes at 37°C, 1 u. Genta-ALP
- Genta-ALP inactivation: 15 minutes at 80°C.

- Reaction buffer (1x): 10 mM Tris/HCl (pH 8.0 at 25° C.); 5 mM MgCl2; 0.1 M KCl; 0.02% Triton X-100; 0.1 mg/ml BSA.
Storage buffer: 25 mM HEPES/NaOH (pH 7.4 at 25°C); 1 mM MgCl2; 0.1 mM ZnSO4; 0.1% triton X-100; 50% glycerin.
Storage temperature: from minus 24°С to minus 16°С.
Transportation conditions: in a thermal container with ice packs, at a temperature of 2°C to 8°C, no more than 3 days.
Shelf life under the conditions of storage and transportation: 24 months from the date of production.
